I am a PhD student in Marine Environmental Science. Generally interested in marine invertebrate ecophysiology, developmental and reproductive biology, aquaculture and conservation.
Currently investigating the potential adaptive capacity of Crepidula onyx by transgenerational exposure to ocean acidification (OA) under the supervision of Dr. Karen Chan.
I graduated my MS in Marine Science from the Marine Science Institute, University of the Philippines. I previously worked on the aquaculture and mass production of giant clams for restocking, giant clam bleaching and the effects of hyposalinity in juvenile Tridacna gigas. I also worked on the reproductive biology of brooding and broadcast spawning corals across the Philippine archipelago and involved in coral restoration efforts.
